The role: You will work alongside the HR Director, providing support to Porchlight employees and advising managers in certain situations.
This includes recruiting staff, developing ways that make Porchlight a positive place to work, managing grievances and disciplinary procedures, overseeing staff learning and development, and managing our HR software.
You’ll be joining a charity that is committed to helping homeless and vulnerable people in Kent and beyond.
This role requires:
A well-developed understanding of HR practices and working knowledge of employment legislation and case law
Excellent communication and people skills
Experience of working in a multifaceted role and managing conflicting priorities
Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
