We are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Team Member to join the Facilities team.
The role will include reactive and planned daily maintenance duties, buildings security and supporting other departments as required across the College. The ideal applicant would have knowledge of trades and experience of working in a similar environment.
The role will support the Facilities Co-ordinator in the wide variety of maintenance requirements with every member of the team expected to turn their hand to any maintenance, Caretaking or compliancy tasks required or as directed.
A general knowledge of building trades is required and able to work to a high standard and take pride in the quality of work is essential.
NVQ Level 2 in Building Maintenance preferred or evidence of relevant experience.
Previous skills, qualifications or experience in plumbing or electrical would be advantageous
Full time 37.5 hours
Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00
The requirements of this role will necessitate occasional evening and weekend work as well as providing cover for the Caretaker role as necessary
