We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales Co-ordinator to join a manufacturing business based in Ashford. This newly created role will see the Internal Sales Co-ordinator as a key support to Operations Manager, sales team and production.
This role is varied and will require a candidate who is both confident and adept at working on their own initiative and who can provide the Operations Manager with the necessary support within a manufacturing environment.
You will ideally have come from a technical or manufacturing background and you will be well versed in dealing with technical sales enquiries and possess strong numeracy and literacy skills and have a positive and logical approach.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Produce quotations and progress these orders
* Process customer orders
* Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to determine scheduled delivery dates
* Produce manufacturing work packages and issue to the manufacturing team
* Negotiate and agree terms with customers
* Develop and expand the business with existing customer
