Unicomp Limited is an established service provider to the IT industry specialising in the service of EPOS Systems and Printers as well as the distribution of spare parts to customers worldwide. We are the nominated Warranty Centre for both Epson and Citizen Printers and pride ourselves in the quality of our Company processes and proactive Customer Service culture.

We are recruiting for a new member of staff to join our Workshop Team as a Technician. We are looking for a self-motivated person who is flexible, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a business with an exciting future ahead. Personal development is important to us so full training will be given.

Main Duties:
• Repair and refurbishment of printers from retail sector
• Repair of Mechanical assemblies / PC-based systems
• Stripping down / cleaning / repair or replacement of parts / re-assembly / calibration & testing

Personal Skills:
Candidates must demonstrate an aptitude to working with small hand tools / soldering etc. and have an eye for detail
Must have the ability to work to deadlines and achieve high quality standards
Experience of electro-mechanical repairs preferred
Competent with working alone on computers using specialist manufacturer calibration programs (training provided)
Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Word would be an advantage

Basic Contract to include:
• Basic 40 hours per week between 08:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
• 20 days annual leave in addition to Bank Holidays
• Salary from 18K - £20K per annum based on experience
