Graticules Optics is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of optical components and electroformed foils, with over 70 years experience in the production of precision engineered micro-patterns.
We are looking for a capable, flexible and enthusiastic person for an opportunity as a Trainee within our Photomechanical Department at our Tonbridge site.
You will be trained in various processes in the manufacture of our micro-imaged optical components - photographic techniques such as exposing, developing, resist spinning and glass etching. You will be trained to meet our quality requirements both visual and using measurement and test equipment. A large part of these tasks will be performed using microscopes, with a requirement to work from engineering drawings and specifications. The work is light, clean and varied and requires good concentration and an eye for detail.
This is a Trainee position so a practical approach, willingness to learn new skills and the ability to listen and follow instructions are important attributes. Full training will be given.
Hours of work are 08.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday 37½ hrs per week. With 21 days holiday per year and offering a Company bonus scheme.
