Plalite Ltd is a precision engineering company based in Sittingbourne Kent. The company works within aerospace, motorsport and other commercial sectors. There is currently a position for a trainee Quality Inspector to learn all aspects of a mechanical engineering inspection department. Training will begin with reading mechanical drawings, using basic measuring instruments and moving on to CMM work, programming CMM's and creating FAI reports for customers. The successful candidate will have finished secondary education with good grades in maths and technical subjects. Having a genuine interest in mechanical engineering and showing an attention to detail will be advantageous.
The working environment will be a well lit, temperature controlled inspection office working within a team of other inspectors under the supervision of a quality manager
The role is a day shift position working a basic 40 hour week with overtime always available. The company offers excellent working conditions, competitive pay and benefits.
