Exciting opportunity for an experienced audit senior or semi-senior now ready to take that next step up to join this growing and very modern North Kent Practice.
The audit component to this role is likely to take up to 60% of your work time.
Duties:
Managing, planning and leading audits for a variety of clients from inception through to completion
Planning of the audit file through to completion
Travelling to client’s premises to conduct audits
Preparing statutory year-end accounts for a variety of clients through to Partner sign-off
Supervising and delegating work to the junior members of the team
Liaising with other departments to effectively and efficiently complete jobs
Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
Client and HMRC correspondence
Requirements:
Qualified ACA/ACCA or close to qualifying
3+ years' audit experience in an accountancy practice
Experience with audit software
Accounts preparation experience
Experience dealing directly with clients
Ability to lead and organise team members
