Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Advisor/Partner to join a busy and fast paced Human Resources team. You will be required to support the Human Resources Manager in delivering an effective, professional Learning and Development function that is aligned to the organisational objectives. You will provide a comprehensive service that contributes to the development of a high-performance workforce.
Position Expectations
• Regularly carry out needs assessments to identify skills, knowledge and statutory requirements to ensure competencies across the organisation
• Design and deliver learning and development programmes to meet identified training needs
• Support in the development and maintenance of the Talent Management Programme
• Source and monitor suitable providers to deliver learning programmes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development activities to establish efficiencies and value to the organisation
• Review and update in-house training programmes including the employee induction programme
• Design and apply assessment tools to establish the effectiveness of learning and development undertaken
• Create an effective and dynamic training programme for our Bursary Scheme, Apprenticeship and Student Programmes
Candidate requirements
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience in analysing development needs and designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes
• Proven experience of managing the effectiveness and evaluation our Apprenticeship, Student Programmes and Talent Management programmes
• Excellent presentation and facilitations skills
• Current PLG (car) licence and use of own vehicle
