Based in East Kent, our prestigious client whom occupy a steadfast position in the private healthcare sector, are seeking a Risk & Information Manager to oversee company-wide risk management and ensure robust systems are in place and monitored to ensure that potential risks are identified and that compliance is maintained.

Job Purpose:

* to implement processes and ensure compliance with GDPR legislation for data collection, processing and storage;
* to support the SIRO with IG training, compliance and reporting;
* to be the first point of contact in regard to risk, Freedom of Information, Information Governance and GDPR;
* provide specialist knowledge to senior management and staff, on clear guidance and performance;
* undertake assessments to ensure that SPH meets its meets both its statutory and legal obligations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial - to review processes, recommend and implement recommendations for improvements.

Business Development - to ensure that new faculties of the business are compliant with relevant legislation.

Quality - ensure that systems and procedures (both digital and tangible) are stored and processed in compliance with current legislation.

Training - to ensure the delivery of accurate and relevant information to the business as a whole, covering all aspects of systems governance, data protection and GDPR.

The successful applicant will occupy a senior position within the business - reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Personal Specification:

* to be successful in application, a candidate must possess a minimum of two years managerial experience;
* hold significant experience in implementing and monitoring of systems;
* ability to formulate and implement a risk management strategy and operating practices;
* possess proven change management skills.

Desirably, the successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and hold experience in tendering for health and social care contracts.

This position is to be worked as a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity - to span a one year period.
