Job Overview:
The Pretty Dress Company is looking for an experienced Goods In / Stores Person to join our dynamic warehouse team.
We are a fast-moving business, delivering genuine quality, value and on trend fashion to UK & International Clients. You will be receiving goods, putting stock away and picking orders. You'll be accurate in your stocktaking, organised in your approach to work and effective in your time management.
Reporting To:
General Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive and put away goods ensuring goods received are correct in qty and un-damaged.
- Accurately pick orders ensuring the correct paperwork for each shipment.
- Maintain excel spreadsheets with notes of goods received and goods despatched.
- Undertake stocktaking duties.
- Load and un-load vehicles. There is a small requirement to deliver in our company van as and when required.
- Good house keeping is maintained.
- Follow workplace health & safety rules.
- Carry out other general warehouse duties.
Skills and personal characteristics should include
- Have a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- PC literate.
- Good communicator.
- Have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Have excellent time management.
