We are a small friendly company based in Langley, Maidstone and looking to recruit an Accounts Manager for a busy accounts department. Knowledge of Property Management Sector would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
Reporting to the Director you will be a key member of the finance team, you will be critically evaluating and compiling financial information for decision making. Your technical knowledge and ability to interpret and provide detailed analysis will assist you in supporting budget holders to reach informed decisions. To achieve this, you must be able to communicate effectively with people who are not familiar with financial terminology.
Self-motivation, initiative and commercial thinking are a necessary skill, along with experience of service charge accounting and the property management sector. Key responsibilities include: -Overlooking of smooth running of accounts department and control of all day to day processes -Assisting with the production of the annual budget for each management company -Analysing and reconciling monthly expenditures and incomes.
Reporting to the Property Manager. -Ensuring that management company directors receive and understand regular monthly reports -Providing data and analysis for the statutory management accounts for all the management companies. -Advanced user of Excel and the capability to use in house software.
Candidates will ideally be CIMA/ACCA Qualified/part qualified (or equivalent qualification) AAT qualified or a QBE (qualified by experience) accountant, although not a requirement. This is a busy, friendly working environment and would suit a versatile and amiable individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
