An exciting opportunity has arisen working for our client based in Dartford for an experienced Specialist Manufacturing/Facilities Maintenance Technician who can collaborate successfully with Facilities, Health & Safety and Maintenance Departments to ensure delivery of a high level of service for the maintenance of the building, plant and equipment.
This position requires someone who has a systematic approach, as well as someone who:
* Holds an Electrical qualification;
* L8 legionella control;
* Has at least two years' experience as an electrical/mechanical technician;
* Knowledge of working in compliance with UK industrial safety standards.
Duties and responsibilities of this position include:
* Providing a customer centric and responsive maintenance service;
* Managing and supervising facilities contractors;
* Conducting all planned preventative maintenance;
* Continually monitoring the companies fire system;
* Maintaining the outside plant areas;
* General site maintenance;
* Undertake electrical and mechanical fault diagnostics and undertake repairs;
* Compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
This position is working Monday - Friday, with an early finish on a Friday and a great benefits package.
Previous experience in a similar role/environment is essential to be considered for this role.
