The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 1 Day drivers to fulfill an on-going position for one of our major clients in Sittingbourne.

We are looking for serious drivers who are interested in a long term opportunity.


In terms of what you will be doing day to day, you will start at 6:00am everyday Monday to Friday, with the option of working some Saturdays if the driver wishes to do so (this is NOT compulsory). Your role will involve the delivery of reels of paper to any of their sites around the country. This can involve either a couple of local drops or can be trunking long distances. Once you have completed your delivery, the empty vehicle will be loaded with waste cardboard and you will return this safely to the depot.

Shifts can be anywhere between 8-12 hours per day.


All drivers must do 2-3 days training with the assessor. All training will be fully paid for. Paid training will start ASAP. We can fit this round your schedule.

Furthermore, potential drivers must have good knowledge about drivers hours and regulations. Also, health and safety is particularly important with this client.



Pay Rates:


PAYE: £12.00 per hour.

LCC: £14.00 per hour


Please note that there is an increased rate for weekends and bank holidays.


To be eligible for this position you must possess:

- Category C+E Licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digi-Card
- Minimum of 3 Months Class 1 experience.
- Good Communication skills
- Commitment (5 days in a working week)
