Lauriem Complete Care Ltd are a successful social care organisation and KCC contracted provider. We are currently looking for Community Care / Support Workers to join our team in the Thanet area.
Job role:
We are recruiting 4 candidates to work on a split shift pattern from 7.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 9.30pm on a rolling rota of 3 days on and 3 days off. A car driver is essential as you will be required to cover the Thanet district and rural areas.
Will be to support and work with vulnerable adults in the community for the following Client base - Mental Health, Dementia, Long Term Medical Conditions, Learning Disabilities and Physical Health Problems, with their daily activities to include personal care, medication, shopping, choices and decisions, social inclusion and social support. Daily activities can include personal care, medication, shopping, choices and decisions, social inclusion and social support.
Previous care experience is not essential as full in-house training and mentoring is provided, with the opportunity to gain a QCF level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care after completing your probationary period.
From £8.50phr for applicants with care experience or new to care applicants after successful completion of 6 months probationary period.

Person Specification :Previous care experience preferred but not essential as full paid training and mentoring provided.

Experience or capacity to understand and take account of the needs of vulnerable people.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to positively engage clients.
Employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and 2 references.
