We are currently seeking for a Logistics / QA Manager to start work immediately for one of our expanding clients based in Ashford, Kent.

Working hours are based on a 39 hour week working Monday to Thursday 8 hours and Friday 7 hours, however candidates are required to be flexible during peek periods.

Salary circa 25K

22 days holiday

The ideal candidate would have experience in logistics and QA from manufacturing back ground however this is not essential.

You will be required to Liaise with the production manager and section supervisors ensuring that goods in and despatch are in accordance to the agreed delivery deadlines. Liaising with customers to arrange and book in deliveries. You will be required to coordinate and plan daily deliveries for both in house drivers and sub contract haulers. Produce accurate delivery nots and QA check sheets. Make sure that all good have been checked thoroughly prior to despatch, you will be required to coordinate with the packing team to ensure goods are suitable packaged for delivery. Book in goods and maintaining the efficient running of our stores. Keep drivers records up to date and logged. Ensure the maintenance of all company vehicles are up to date.

The ideal candidate will have to following attributes:
• Computer literate
• Methodical approach to work and an eye for detail.
• Maintain and enforce health and safety.
• Maintain FORS and CLOCS accreditation.
• Smart and professional in appearance with a confident telephone manor.
• Must be keen , enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team
• A clean full UK driver’s licence
