Our international client who is based in Kent is actively recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join their longstanding team.
You will be Working in the close cooperation with the Site Operations and Planning manager where you will be responsible for:
Optimum cost UK haulage arrangement; From process commencement through to customer receipt; Including coldstore releases; required (customer) load preparation & punctual delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities:
To manage the Raw Materials, inbound and despatch process via systems & internal teams, transport to optimise service and cost
Report on cost to serve; punctuality & fulfilment
General daily logistics administration duties
To drive sustained customer service via continuous improvement
To ensure that appropriate strategies are followed through to effectively meet the site & group's immediate and long term goals
Logistics projects. Involvement in Logistics projects within wider ABP Group as required
Delivery of Seasonal alongside Planning and other teams onsite
Manage and develop depot / 3PL relationships and optimise the appropriate level relationship
Ensure service level target is maintained to customers
Ensure all related processes are documented; maintained and developed to support business needs.
Manage capacity and capability to ensure business actual can be achieved
Monitor cost to receive, store, despatch and serve to maximise cost effectiveness of supply processes
Liaise with supply and operations management on factory capacity in transport operations and warehousing
Liaise with commercial teams and operational teams on supply, capacity, promotional volume and NPD issues to ensure a cohesive operating plan
For this role you will have previous experience of distribution operations within an FMCG logistics environment.
