This is a wide-ranging IT Support Engineer role that will involve you in networking, First Line Support, integrated telecoms, and CCTV systems. It would be suitable for a support engineer, well versed with Microsoft Operating systems, MS Office products, network cabling, printers, routers and general first line IT support. Ideally, this experience should have been gained working within a similar support company/ environment. An interest in the application of technology into business would be valuable.

The IT Support Engineer role involves:
• visits to client sites around Kent
• covering the Support Desk, where good first line remote support skills are essential
This is a real hands-on role where you will be:
• installing and configuring software
• diagnosing and solving faults
• undertaking maintenance upgrades
• installing cabling
• installing and configuring CCTV systems
Good experience in the IT sector is essential, along with good people skills. Providing successful support is about understanding a customer’s problems, thinking on your feet, and then using your knowledge and experience to resolve things successfully. You need to be able to follow directions, be punctual, reliable and presentable, and take pride in doing a good job.
