Team Secretary supporting the Marine & Energy team
12 month FTC - starting June 2019

About the Company:
A fortune 500 company with over 60 offices in 20+ countries, is a holding company for insurance, reinsurance, specialist advisory and investment operations around the world.

This department underwrite a worldwide portfolio including marine primary and excess coverage for liability, hull, war, terrorism, specie, ports and terminals, marine trades, subsea and cargo risks; upstream and midstream oil and gas risks.

About the Role:
·Diary management of senior people within the team/division, including arranging all aspects of internal and external meetings as required.
·Document production in line with company branding and to the given deadlines.
·General administration for the team/division, including phone calls filing, scanning, opening and distributing post, attendance records, archive management and staff expenses.
·Management of stationery cupboard and any other equipment requests
·Arranging Presentations / events / away days - liaising with relevant departments and external contacts/companies to arrange as necessary.
·Provide support to the Division's PA with extensive travel bookings and visa applications as well as currency requests, in line with the Company's Travel and Entertainment Policy, including organisation of all aspects required for incoming visitors.
·Provide a warm welcome to Marine & Energy for all in person queries. Deal with internal and external enquiries by email and telephone
·Assisting the Division PA and the team with ad hoc projects

Key Skills and Experience:
·Have experience of working within a corporate environment and knowledge of the insurance industry would be advantageous
·Possess a strong academic record. Degree level qualification would be advantageous, but not compulsory for an otherwise strong candidate
·Have excellent MS Office and Excel knowledge, or be willing to undertake the necessary training.
