Events Sales Executive
Southborough, Tunbridge Wells
£26,000 basic salary plus up to £24,750 commission
Full Time and Permanent

Are you a sales professional with telephone and face to face experience in the events and wedding industry?
About Our Client
Leading, rapidly expanding, multi-award winning Group based in a picturesque location in the Southborough area, providing superb opportunities to develop and progress your career.
Role Purpose:
A customer driven, new business sales role that incorporates new business development, relationship management and account management. Working in both B2B and B2C arenas in order to generate income and reach sales targets. Ability to sell a wide variety of hospitality products and events through creative face to face and over the phone pitches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for the implementation of strategies and techniques necessary for achieving personal sales targets and organisational objectives
* Map potential customers, generating and managing personal leads for the organisation
* 100% responsible for new business and maintaining/improving spend with existing client base
* You will be required to meet clients on multiple occasions and present to them face-to-face (both onsite and offsite as appropriate)
* Achieve the minimum weekly KPI's of 15 client appointments and/or 100 effective client telephone calls each week.
* Identification and participate at relevant network events, exhibitions etc.
* Some evening and weekend work will be necessary, this will be a minimum of 1 x Saturday each month.
* To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager and department head
Essential Skills
* Both face to face and telephone sales experience
* Ideally sales experience within a relevant industry (Leisure / Hospitality/ Events)
* Both B2B and B2C
* Worked within a faced paced Sales environment, with consistent target achievement
* Self motivated individual
Desired Skills
* Relevant client contacts from within the corporate event and hospitality market sector
