We are looking for an experienced Nanny for our family as our current nanny who has been with us for 3 years is leaving at the end of April to start her own family. We currently live in Hythe, while restoring our home near Elham. Our house has great views of the sea and is 1 mins walk from the beach. We will move back into our house near Elham late 2019/early 2020.Our son’s school is a 35 min drive from our house in Hythe and a 25 min drive from our house near Elham. He is almost 5 years old and loves singing, dancing, baking, making and everything outdoors.

He is polite, loving, kind and very sociable. We are looking for someone who has worked with young children and has demonstrable experience creating a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for children. Thomas attends school full-time and has after school activities 2 afternoons p/w. Before and after school our Nanny will support him with reading, writing, blending and any other work that is introduced by school.

Hours of work

• Monday – Friday 6:30am – 9:00am
• Monday – 3:30pm - 7:30pm and Tuesday 3:30pm - 7:30pm, Wednesday 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Total = 23.5 p/w

• £8-£10

Responsibilities

• School drop off and picks ups
• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
• Supervise activities at all times
• Plan and prepare meals
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Plan and lead educational activities, including reading and other activities as directed by school
• Drive to and from after school activities

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience caring for children
• Training in early childhood education preferred
• First aid training and child and infant CPR preferred
• Drivers licence and safe driving history
• Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
• Physical ability to care for a young child
• Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
