A rare and sought-after opportunity to join a highly regarded financial services company based in Tonbridge - Kent, has recently become available. Working as an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth-running performance of the core operational functions of the business.

This is an exciting and new opportunity for the right person to be responsible for a variety of tasks which will include – Finance, Sales reports, Marketing, Compliance, IT and general office processes.

As the Operations Manager you will be self-motivated and highly professional individual with good personal skills. You will have full support from the business.

Your day to day duties will be:

• Financial Operations (Book keeping, Reconciliation of accounts, Payroll, Accounts Prep)

• Management Information

• Corporate and Compliance Operations

• Investment Operations

• Sales and Marketing Operations

• Adviser Business Operations

• Other various office management duties.

The skills required and to be successful for the role are:

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills and advanced Excel skills
• Able to use CRM systems and accounting systems (Xero) – training will be given
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures (does not need to be a qualified accountant)
• A positive, friendly approach with a “can do” attitude and personal commitment
• To manage and develop a small team
• A knowledge of financial services / pensions and investments would be an advantage.

Although the firm is looking for the right candidate with the ability to learn and develop, the successful candidate may already be familiar with an FCA regulated environment and may possess qualifications in finance or financial services and / or have previous operations / practice management experience within a financial services firm.

SALARY: competitive based on experience and knowledge.

In addition to a competitive base salary you will receive:
