NET Developer with strong C# and WPF experience is required on an initial 6 month contract, working for a globally recognised organisation based in Kent.

This role primarily involves the development of new UI applications using C# .NET and WPF (MVVM), as well as the development of new modules for existing applications. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who can work unaided as well as part of a small focused team. The individual needs to have a methodical and structured approach to work. Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively and liaise calmly with users when in a high-pressure and challenging environment. The individual will also be required to deliver detailed documentation on systems developed during the contract.

.NET C# WPF - Key Responsibilities/Duties

. Meeting with stake holders to discuss requirements, designs and specifications
. Producing requirements documentation of proposed solution
. Development of C# Applications using C#, .NET, WPF & MVVM
. Working with other developers to define and make use of various services and API'S

.NET C# WPF - Key skills required

. 5+ years working knowledge of Microsoft C# with WPF/MVVM
. Good Knowledge of SOLID Design Principles and industry best practices
. Experience in SQL and relational databases
. Experience with messaging/communication of data via TCP/IP, UDP, ACTIVEMQ
. Experience in Test-driven development including writing unit tests
. Excellent communication skills

.NET C# WPF - Additional skills required

. 1st or 2nd class honours degree in an IT related discipline
. Experience with Web Application Development (HTML5, CSS, ASP.NET .MVC, Bootstrap, AngularJS, SignalR)
. Excellent analytical skills
. Confidence to work with minimal supervision.
