This is a unique opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join a growing and exciting investment business with a highly regarded brand servicing the financial adviser segment. The business has an excellent 10-year record and is now looking to accelerate this growth through improved service to existing adviser firms and by growing the number of supporting accounts. We are looking for an ambitious and hungry coordinator who has the drive and tenacity to manage aspects of our marketing, events and sales.

You should be interested in the world of investing, pensions and how technology is changing this space. We don’t need a financial expert, but we do need someone who will take an interest in our market and learn about what we do!

In return you will be joining a small enthusiastic team ready to help you succeed, engaging with a market receptive to our proposition.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• A proven record of delivering exceptional telephone and relationship management skills
• An understanding of a B2B Business
• An understanding of the UK investment / adviser marketplace useful
• An entrepreneurially spirited character who can help us develop and improve upon our current processes and products
• A curious person who will want to learn about the industry and the challenges it faces
• A desire to truly embrace the importance of maintaining a rock-solid CRM
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and CRM systems
• Numeracy, attention to detail, an outgoing personality

Your day to day responsibilities will be:

• Telephone and email queries: investment performance, charges, documentation etc.
• Support the onboarding process of new accounts
• Manage the administration of follow up meetings, DDQ packs, suitability letters, fact sheets etc.
• Update the sales CRM system with contacts and actions
• Proactively contact each VIP account each month to maintain a strong relationship
• Manage production of monthly and ad hoc performance queries
• Update website content
• Support issue of weekly blog, Twitter, Linked In updates
• Manage the updating and maintenance of literature
• Support production and issue of quarterly investment commentary
• Support event management invites, confirmations and follow ups
• Support for new business proposals and pitches
• Support to the Sales Director

In a nutshell we want someone with ideas, with passion and with empathy who can not only support a range of clients – but help the business to become better at what it does and to make sure we are delivering great products, service and events which our clients want.

We are in our tenth year and have a strong book of industry clients. We are in growth mode. The right person will help us expand our contact base and be incentivised and rewarded for doing so.

SALARY: competitive based on experience and knowledge.

In addition to a competitive base salary we can offer working flexibility and you will receive:

Money Purchase Pension Scheme.
25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
Annual bonus based on individual and group target.
