We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our expanding team in Strood, Kent.

Salary Available: £20,000 - £22,000 (Dependent on Experience).

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Raising customer invoices and payments for two companies.
• Credit control.
• Producing customer statements.
• Matching invoices to Purchase Orders.
• Posting invoices to the accounts system.
• Producing supplier payments.
• Dealing with supplier enquiries.
• Recording of all cash transactions from Bank Statements on a weekly basis.
• Posting receipts and payments from Cashbook on a weekly basis.
• Bank Reconciliation for the two companies.
• Credit card reconciliations for the group.
• Preparation and posting of journals.
• Assisting in the preparation of Month end accounts.
• Any ad hoc requirements as directed by the Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
