Finance Manager required for a manufacturing business South of Maidstone. The sizeable international group will require the Finance Manager to lead on the management accounting activities, group reporting, treasury and support the Assistant Accountants. Exciting times ahead as the Finance Manager will also contribute to the system improvements (SAP) and group wide project work.
Detailed duties of the Finance Manager include;
• Financial reporting including comprehensive management accounts to the parent company
• Preparation of balance sheet, P&L, cashflow statement, overseeing accruals/prepayments
• Manage treasury procedures ensuring short and long term cashflow demands are met
• Multi-currency treasury responsibilities
• Process improvement
• SAP key user, ensuring consistency of performance during upgrades/exploring new areas of functionality
• Deputy to the Head of Finance, assisting team with financial tasks and accounting issues
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following essential criteria;
• Part Qualified and actively studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (finalist/qualified preferred)
• Experience of supervising/managing staff
• Confidence in leading the month end process, able to produce management accounts autonomously
Desirable;
• SAP systems experience
• Treasury experience with multiple currencies
