TMLT is an independent leisure Trust in Kent operating 4 facilities with nearly 400 staff and a turnover of £6.3m. We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant as a key member of the Finance Team to manage daily accounting tasks. You will report to the Head of Finance and have overall responsibility for the Sales ledger, Purchase ledger and Cashbook within Sage 200. You will also assist in the monthly payroll process, control accounts and nominal ledger journals within the monthly management accounts process.
The successful candidate is likely to have strong demonstrable financial experience in a similar setting, is well-versed in accounting & financial reporting principles with the ability to make decisions and problem solve both independently and as part of a team. You will be AAT qualified and/or have relevant experience, be ambitious, numerate, hard working with great attention to detail.
Based at our Head Office in Larkfield you will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work with the ability to work well under pressure. Working knowledge of Sage 200 Accounts & Payroll is desirable. In return for this opportunity, we offer a competitive salary, and other benefits;
