The Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) is one of the UK’s oldest trade associations. It’s the leading body for the entire range of contractors and firms involved in the electrical and electrotechnical industry, across the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
Our Association is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, as part of a team of 7, based in our Sevenoaks office. The role will report to the Management Accountant and will work closely with regional teams. The office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, with a competitive salary and benefits package available.
The role will include but is not limited to:
• Managing bank receipts and payments for ECA Regions and Branches
• Maintaining accounts records for ECA Regions and Branches (Sage 200)
• Credit card reconciliations
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparing reports of income and expenditure
• Dealing with queries from Regions and Branches
• Ad hoc reporting
• Assisting with wider finance team
The ideal candidate will be an able communicator, both by phone and e-mail with a proven work history of working in similar position of trust and be competent in word and excel, with Sage 200 experience desirable and an understanding of bookkeeping.
