Teacher of Science – Gravesend
Paid depending on experience – Easter Start


Supply Desk is working with an Ofsted rated Good school in Gravesend, sourcing for a teacher of Science to start after Easter till the end of the academic year on a full-time basis.

The school is happy to look at teachers with any specialism in Science; Biology, Chemistry or Physics. This position would be open to Science Teachers of all experience levels and interviews would be held ASAP.

The school in question is a mixed mainstream secondary school and is a faith school. They have a very compassionate approach to education and aim to foster the strengths of their students and ensure they have a positive and engaging school experience. The departments themselves are very supportive and the sharing of resources is common place.


The Role
• Teaching Science to GCSE, specialism in either Chemistry, Biology or Physics
• Planning and marking responsibilities
• Form tutor and potential parent’s evening


The Ideal Candidate
• Experience teaching Science in UK Secondary Schools
• Specialism in either Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential
• MUST be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS would be highly preferable)
