About the Role
A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance & Administration Assistant to join our team at our offices in Rochester, Kent. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate looking for a finance and administration role in a busy and demanding environment. This is a role for an organised individual with exceptional attention to detail who will thrive in a busy department. This role would suit an individual for their first finance & administration role as full training will be given, the candidate will also get an overview into all the different aspects of the finance department.
Key Duties
○ Accounts payable
○ Accounts receivable
○ Purchasing and communicating with distributors
○ Credit control
○ Answering the phone
○ Maintaining internal records and Filing
○ Posting invoices to our accounts package
○ Petty Cash reconciliations
○ Office maintenance
Skills and Experience
○ Ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel
○ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
○ Excellent personal organisation skill with attention to detail.
○ Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.
○ Self motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
○ Ability to follow procedures consistently.
○ Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care
○ Full UK Driving License
