Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be working with a leading global provider of specialist Risk Management services to recruit an experience Civil Engineer.

My client offer risk surveying and loss control services specifically aimed at the ‘Engineering Insurance’ industry. Due to success they are developing the engineering side of the business, so drawing on the requirements of the insurance market (Construction) to have risk management reviews undertaken as part of a construction insurance policy, they need to recruit an Engineer to assist with this.
This is a home based role with the need to visit their kent based office as necessary and with the requirement to travel on a worldwide basis.

A Civil Engineer with an insurance background would be perfect but not essential. The successful candidate will have solid practical experience and should have knowledge of loss control / risk management and the ability to gather and collate information through field survey work. Candidates should have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills as you will be required to liaise with Insurers, contractors, project management and engineering staff at all levels. You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of construction methodologies in use across a wide range of Industries.

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will all need a full passport without travel restrictions, full clean UK driving licence, own a suitable car, available for business use and have a good working knowledge of MS Office & Outlook.
