Front of House Manager – New Fine Dining Restaurant - Winery

At the gateway to the garden of England lies a beautiful estate who delight in sharing the joy of their unique setting. After an award-winning year, they are about to open a new fine dining restaurant to complement the wine led experiences and functions, with a view to creating a unique food and drink destination.
My client is now looking for a Front of House Manager to lead the food and beverage operations, supported by an excellent events team, glorious wine and an exciting food offering.

The ideal candidate will have a charismatic personality with a genuine warmth and an enthusiasm for food, wine and the desire to share that passion with others. You will have had experience as a Front of House Manager, Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager in an award-winning food environment, ideally at 2 AA rosette level of above. As well as being at home in a restaurant you will have had operational experience with events and functions as this is proving to be a popular wedding venue. You will be able to recruit, train, retain and inspire a team to excel, particularly in a start up scenario where you will be instrumental in building the business.

You will have a strong interest in wine, ideally with a WSET qualification, and a good knowledge of food. This will be a hands-on position where you will manage the team from the front and be responsible for all service delivery.

You will remember why you wanted to work in hospitality, to share the joy of great memories with friends and family, and still have the appetite to learn more. Naturally, you will be commercially astute and be confident in setting and working within budgets.

You will need to have your own transport due to the location of this venue.
