Farm Fresh PO Ltd is one of the most successful Producer Organisations in the UK. From start up in 1996, we have grown our business turnover to over £100 million.
We are looking to recruit a full time Accounts Assistant who will be based at our offices in Maidstone.
Working in a small, established and friendly team you will support the Finance Manager in a wide variety of duties to include:
• Sales Ledger; including invoicing, posting receipts, credit control and reconciliations
• Purchase Ledger; including posting invoices, BACS payments and reconciliations (inc multi-currency)
• Maintain & reconcile Members accounts
• Ensuring full and accurate records are kept for the RPA
• Aid with VAT returns
• Aid with Payroll
• Banking & reconciliations
• Liaise with growers and suppliers
• Providing support to the Finance Manager
• General office duties e.g. ordering stationery
To be considered for this job opportunity you will need to be:
• Accurate, organised, methodical, proactive and personable.
• Be able to adhere to financial and members deadlines.
• Possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• You will be comfortable working with Sage 50 and Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Have a general appreciation of computer system as we use EDI and maintain an Extranet for our members.
• Be an enthusiastic team player who is looking for a varied role with an enjoyable business.
• Have relevant Accounts experience and an accounting qualification or be working towards one
