IT Sales Executive
Maidstone
£24k + Commission

Our client is a well-established IT Support and Services company that has been supporting businesses across the South East of England, primarily Kent, for 30 years.
The IT team is expanding and now looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive with basic knowledge of modern IT Systems and the industry to push the growth of the company. You will primarily look to increase client numbers as well as sales of hardware and services to existing clients. As a small company of 15 Staff they offer a relaxed atmosphere with a great team bond, like a family. They are shortly moving to larger open plan offices to accommodate their expansion plans.
They work up to the latest Server technology, Modern firewalls and protection systems.
Recent projects include installing the latest Servers (Physical & Virtual) to migrate from older 2008 systems or starting a Server based network from scratch; installing firewalls and setting up and migrating Exchange to Office 365.
They are looking for an individual with existing current skills;
• Knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop systems is essential along with a good overview of general IT
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven IT sales track record
• Effective relationship-builder
• Self-motivation and ambition
• Experience of working within a sales team or as an individual sales executive
• Proven ability to develop and close business opportunities
Who can undertake the following:
• Easily identify new business opportunities
• Work with other members of staff to come up with marketing plans to help drive new sales
• Attend networking events to promote the company
• Build a good relationship with new clients
• Be able to quickly identify a customer’s needs then create proposals and quotations
• Develop and manage clients to their full potential
• Continually develop product and market knowledge
• Forecast pipeline opportunities
Place of Work
The office is based in Maidstone, Kent. There will be traveling to meetings, etc across the target area of South East England. Full (Preferred clean) UK driving licence required and own car is essential (fixed mileage paid on visits to prospective clients and meetings, etc.). Parking will be provided at the company HQ or permit to park in nearby carpark.
Hours of Work/Holiday
37.5 hours per week
22 days holiday per annum plus all UK bank holidays
