Are you an experienced and skilled lathe machinist/ miller/ turner - seeking a new and exciting challenge in a small team based in central Sittingbourne?
Our client are a busy manufacturing business who are seeking to add talent to their existing team and are ideally wanting a formally educated and trained turner to join their engineering team. Manufacturing to high standards - both bespoke units and standard items, you will be part of a flexible team working a Monday to Friday 39 hr week with Over Time of at least 11 hrs per week plus Saturday morning and occasional evenings, all at time and one third rate.
You will be an effective miller/turner who can understand and read drawings on your own, use a range of traditional and modern equipment and be adaptable. Proven skills in traditional machining and Lathe work will be required - bench test will form part of the interview process to ensure level of competency.
Knowledge of Hydraulic systems would be advantageous but not essential.
