A well established global manufacturer is looking for an experienced Goods-In Dispatch Officer for their stores and dispatch department. This person will be responsible for completing all logistic tasks to ensure the smooth running of the section and effective flow of goods.
Role Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all aspects of the: logistics, goods-in and stores duties;
* Contribute towards the continuous stock check function;
* Unload, unpack and distribute goods to the correct units;
* Raise work orders and complete all relevant paperwork, working on data entry and filing correctly;
* Organise, pick and pack customer deliveries and collections;
* General store duties: administration, manual handling, operation of forklift;
* Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures;
* Maintain good communication, quality standards and health and safety.
You must have solid communication skills, be a good organiser with solid computer skills to complete the administration.
A forklift licence and experience of operating a fork lift (counter balance) is essential for this role. You must also hold a clean UK Driving Licence to complete deliveries as and when required.
