Standex Electronics UK Ltd is part of the Standex Electronics group specialising in the manufacture of electronic components, fluid level sensors, and magnetics. Due to organisational changes we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Engineer.
This will be a hands-on role working in a fast-paced electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. The role is diverse in that the successful applicant will be working closely with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to resolve problems and improve manufacturing techniques.
Desirable attributes required:
• Manufacturing / Production Engineering background.
• Practical problem-solving skills.
• Experience of electro mechanical & pneumatic equipment.
• Electro plating knowledge.
• Understanding of Lean tools such as Kanban, 5S, VSM.
• Knowledge/experience of Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
• Competent computer / IT knowledge.
• Understanding of ISO9001
