We are delighted to be recruiting Experienced Quality Controllers on behalf our Fresh Produce client who are leaders in their field.

The successful candidates will have an understanding of the quality standards required within this sector. The hours are 7am - 7am, working 5 over 7 days, but must be flexible to work to the needs for the business. These are ongoing positions with opportunities for Temp - Perm for suitable candidates.

You main duties will be:

Undertaking quality control procedures as per the Quality Management System and completing the associated documentation in a timely manner.
Ensuring all records are legible, retained in good condition and filed appropriately.
Undertaking inspections and checks at specific standards to ensure that the fruit and product meets customer and legislative requirements and traceability procedures.
Providing support with visiting customers, growers and government agencies (DEFRA / EHO)
Ensure all equipment is calibrated daily/as required, maintained and in good, clean condition.
On daily basis carry out assessments for staff regarding packing standards
Ensuring that all work activities comply with customer and the third party standards the company is seeking to maintain, e.g. BRC
Responsibility for the production line, machinery and staff. To complete relevant paperwork as necessary for various departments.
Following QC Manager and Technical Manager’s work instructions due to seasonal changes and quality trends.
Ensure the health and safety of staff, in accordance with company policy and Health and Safety at Work.
