A vacancy has arisen for a Full time Care Co-ordinator to work at Montgomery Court Wainscott Kent. The service has been audited by CQC as GOOD.
The role is to support our tenants to live valued lives within the community and ensure that all tenants have person centred care plans that meet tenants expressed needs. To monitor the care being delivered to our tenants through spot checks and quality audits and work on improvements in care provision. The candidate will liaise with health care professionals, families and social care professionals to meet the needs of our tenants.
You will be responsible for managing staff rotas and ensuring that all staff have formal supervisions, to chair and manage staff meetings and provide a positive lead role with the registered manager of the unit. Oversee the management and delivery of the Independent Living Extra Care Services at senior level.
Essential Criteria
• Diploma to NVQ 3 standards or above.
• A good working knowledge of Data Base Management Systems.
• The ability to plan and work well under pressure.
• To ensure that there is effective communication at all levels internally and external.
• Take part in the On Call out of hour’s service as required.
• A minimum of two years’ experience as a care co-ordinator.
• The ability to work flexibly 40 hours per week.
Salary £19:000 - £21:500 depending on experience
