A great opportunity has arisen for an Event Manager, to work on with an Italian Event Director.
An established and very successful Italian Event/ Exhibition now requires a full time Event Manager. This role will involve but limited to:
Organising and help the smooth running of the Italian event.
Supporting the event director in the development and execution of the event
Marketing of the event on Websites
Marketing for the event hard copy
Liaising with the exhibitors
Catalogue compilation
Event administration, including venue and operational administration
Travel to the event
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to communicate in English and Italian, both verbally and in writing
Fluency in both languages is a pre requisite
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Calling exhibitors to discuss their requirements for and during the event
Build relationships with exhibitors discuss which products they are launching
Excellent attention for detail
Has good rapport building ability
First class clear and concise communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Familiar with using social media
Team player who thinks ahead and knows how to prioritise
Excellent internal and external communication skills
Ability to travel to the event in Italy
Annual basic salary to 30k plus plus benefits.
