Clark James Recruitment are currently working with a highly regarded IFA business within the Mid-Kent area.

Due to ongoing business growth our client are looking to recruit a part-time Financial Services Administrator to join their expanding team.

Role

• Providing administration support to an IFA within all aspects of the existing client bank and developing new business
• Ongoing support to the IFA, clients and business connections
• Take responsibility for client enquiries/queries or administrative questions, answering or fielding queries where relevant
• Schedule and make courtesy calls to existing clients with a view to identifying potential new business
• Build and maintain good client relationships, delivering excellent and efficient service
• Diary Management - book all appointments – includes existing clients, new clients, introducers and B2B events
• Prepare appropriate client packs for meetings
• Typing of file notes ensuring they are bullet pointed and cover all relevant areas
• Issue weekly client progress updates by email
• Manage and action referral scheme and other marketing campaigns
• Action, manage and report on output of any marketing/lead generation initiatives implemented
• Ensure existing processes are adhered to and develop new processes where necessary
• Prioritise and take proactive responsibility for own workload in accordance with the published procedures.
• Ensure all databases are kept up-to-date
• Ensure any work is compliant, complete, scanned and presented in the required format
• Act as liaison between IFA, client and Head Office ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Dealing with team post
• Working closely with the IFA to deliver teams goals, targets and agreed business plan
• Routinely and consistently follow company procedures and compliance requirements

Candidate

• Excellent financial services administration experience
• Excellent communication skills
• High level attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for shared delivery
• Maintain high level professional conduct with Clients and introducers via face to face, telephone, email and written communication
• Must be a self-starter and be able to take initiative
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Develop solutions and problem solve
• Recommends appropriate solutions
• Takes initiative
• Takes responsibility for actions, manages time effectively and plans ahead
• Numerate
• Good IT skills
• Commercial awareness and good overall product knowledge
• Compliance awareness
• Demonstrate a can-do and committed attitude

Package

• 20 hours a week
• Salary negotiable dependent on experience
