Experienced Bookkeeper /Payroll
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper/payroll manager to join this friendly and busy accountancy practice based in Tunbridge Wells.
As an experienced bookkeeper and payroll manager, having worked in an accountancy practice, your duties will be to:
Run a payroll for approx. 100 companies (largely small businesses with 1-3 employees)
Resolve payroll queries including NI and tax recalculations
Handle the setting up of auto-enrolment
Handle employee queries
Complete quarterly VAT returns and EC sales lists through a range of software including; Sage, Xero and Excel
Assist in management accounts if requested
Support the accounts team
Provide a good standard of book keeping and complete the bookkeeping in real-time
Resolve VAT queries under the support of the management team
Supervise members of the team requiring training in this area
Experience of Xero, Sage and BrightPay software is also desirable.
Salary circa £18,000 - £25,000 plus bonus scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
