ROVING SOUS CHEF - £28,000 + tips & mileage –
This small independently run group of gastro pubs is currently expanding and as a result they are looking for a Roving Sous Chef to join the team. Your role will involve travelling to all of their eight sites as required and assisting with the day to day running of the kitchen.
Each pub has a team of 6-8 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with European influences. Everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce which is all sourced locally where possible. The standards are very high so previous experience working within a fresh food kitchen will be essential.
Other duties will include training the junior members of the team, assisting with menu design, stock control, ordering and ensuring all health, safety and hygiene procedures are adhered to.
