An established organisation operating within a structured and regulated environment is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support supplier management and commercial delivery. This role will play a key role in driving value, governance, and strong supplier relationships across the business.

Your new role

* Negotiating commercial terms, conditions, pricing, and contracts with suppliers
* Acting as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Monitoring purchase order budgets and identifying cost‑saving opportunities through effective negotiation
* Tracking supplier performance, managing KPIs, and resolving issues at a senior level
* Maintaining accurate supplier order books and procurement data within the Oracle ERP system
* Supporting the implementation of corporate procurement processes, including strategic supplier, subcontract, and commodity management
* Coaching and supporting junior team members, contributing to audits and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

* Proven experience in buying, procurement, or purchasing
* Demonstrated capability in leading negotiations and managing supplier relationships
* Experience with terms and conditions
* Demonstrated experience with cross-functional relationships internally and externally
* Eligibility for security clearance
