Your new companyAn industry‑leading organisation is seeking a proactive Facilities Management Operative to join their team. With multiple busy, occupied sites across the region, this company prides itself on delivering exceptional on‑site support, maintaining safe and efficient working environments, and offering high‑quality service to its clients and building users.

Your new role
As the Facilities Management Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring day‑to‑day site operations run smoothly. You'll liaise with employees and contractors, take ownership of the site, and deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing incoming and outgoing post.
Delivering and recording contractor and visitor inductions.
Acting as the first point of contact for reactive maintenance issues.
Conducting regular site inspections and escalating issues where required.
Providing basic cleaning within kitchen and toilet areas.
Completing minor fabric, electrical and plumbing repairs (e.g., tightening fixings, replacing toilet seats, changing fuses, unblocking sinks).
Supporting with HVAC adjustments and fire alarm testing.
Ensuring all tasks are logged and completed via the CAFM system.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:

A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience in a facilities, maintenance or building support role (or similar).
Confidence carrying out basic fabric, plumbing and electrical repairs within your competency.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with colleagues and contractors.
A professional manner and pride in maintaining high service standards.
