We are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a client of ours in Maidstone on a 6 month temporary basis.

You will play a crucial part keeping vehicles operational as the service runs 24/7. You will maintain and service vehicles and equipment to the highest of standards.

Your role will include:

* Ensuring effectiveness of the operation of vehicles and equipment following manufacturer's recommendations for repair and maintenance.
* Complete documentation of details of repairs or work carried out. This can be electronically or written down.
* Manage stock levels of local parts to ensure smooth operation.
* Work with the fleet and equipment service to meet departmental needs and objectives

To be considered for the role require:

* Accredited IMI (or equivalent) Master Technician or demonstrate the capability to achieve and maintain that standard through formal assessment. (Level 3 LGV Technician)
* IRTEC Certificate (where relevant)
* Experience or willingness to learn relevant servicing requirements for specialist vehicles.
* Level 4 in Diagnosis, testing and repair of ICE/hybrid/electric vehicles and components or demonstrate capability to achieve and maintain that standard through formal assessment of future fleet.
* Experience in working with complex, multi demand fleet and technician environment.
* Ideally have experience with Volvo/Scania/Mercedes/Iveco

This role is Monday to Friday - 37hrs per week

The role pays £18.15ph - £20.47ph depending on experience.

DBS and satisfactory referencing required.
