The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for their client based in Grays, Essex.

The day to day activities of this role will require you to deliver Kitchens and associated products to customer addresses, with the inclusion of delivering units and white goods. Due to the nature of the job some of the products will be heavy, we suggest that a good level of physical fitness will be required. To make life easier for you as the driver, you will be assisted with the possibility of a drivers mate which will help with the lifting and delivery of the products. You will be driving & delivering around the South East corner, mainly Essex, Kent and some parts of London. Good road knowledge would be required, and any experience with white goods and lifting would be highly beneficial. As this is a customer facing role, some experience is not essential but would be ideal.

Start time for this job is 7am and it is Monday to Friday, giving you a good work/home life balance.
Pay for the role is £15.50 per hour, based on a minimum day of 8 hours a day. Overtime would be paid at £23.25 after working 40 hours in a week.

Previous Class 2 driving experience not essential but desirable
Vehicle checks
Good road knowledge
Understanding Tachos
Delivery experience including lifting
Max 6 points on licence, no DD/DR codes
