Class 1 Driver - Part Time

£15.75 - £25.87 per hour + holiday pay

Venrec are recruiting on behalf of our client for Part Time Weekend Class 1 Drivers based in Sittingbourne/ Maidstone

The role will entail:

- Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
- Delivering to RDC’s and collections to and from farms.
- The shifts are on average 12 hours long.
- Flexibility for shift start times.
- Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

- Full Class 1 licence (New passes are welcome to apply).
- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
- No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
- Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
- Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge.

Shifts available are Friday until Monday with a mixture of days & night shifts starting from 01:00 hours to 11.00pm and our client has regular ongoing hours.

All candidates are required to pass our clients assessment prior to commencing which includes a written and practical driving test. (2–3 hour assessments are being held between Monday to Friday)

Pay Rates:

- Days - £15.75 (Monday to Friday).
- Nights - £17.25 (Monday to Friday).
- Saturday hours – Day £20.00/ Night £20.70.
- Sunday hours + Bank Holiday – Day £23.62/ Nights £25.87.

The rates are all PAYE and holiday accrual is in addition to the above rates and is paid weekly.
