A unique and exciting opportunity to join a leading firm of property advisors that offer a broad range of services including Insurance, Property management, Auctions, Commercial Agency and Valuations.

Established in 1931, you will be joining a respected and reputable company that retains the original ethos for service while drawing on modern business arrangements and practices.

As part of the diverse and allied range of services, our client, has an established and successful insurance team providing commercial and residential property portfolio owners with specialist insurance cover and advice.



The successful Account Handler will assist the insurance team with a range of support tasks to facilitate the placement and servicing of landlords insurance.



The Role

* Update risk information prior to renewal
* Prepare and send renewal documents to clients

* Upload premium information to our accounting system
* Identify and explore new business opportunities within the firm and externally
* Liaise with our marketing department and contact prospective clients
* Assist with quotes and policy updates
* Respond to client queries
* Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with landlords and brokers
* Liaise with Loss Adjusters and claims specialists.



Candidate Attributes:

* Experience in property insurance is desired and property owners would be ideal
* The ability to communicate well by phone and email
* Ability to build rapport and relationships
* Self-motivation and good attention to detail skills are required
* The ability to communicate well with other departments
* Previous insurance experience essential
* Ability to work on own initiative



What is on offer

* Salary £25,000 to £45,000 + annual bonus + benefits package
* Hybrid working - 4 days office & 1 day home
* Office located in East London, E11 - close to Leytonstone Station on Central Line
