Our client, a well-established Freight Forwarding company in Basildon are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The client is looking for someone who has previous HR Administration experience and ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this.

Key roles and responsibilities:

* Assist with recruitment administration and interview scheduling with line managers.
* Manage the onboarding administration of all new starters (e.g., preparing offer of employment letters, contract of employment etc) and offboarding administration for leavers.
* Scrutinise right to work proof and checks and analyse criminal records checks (DBS) for new employee screening to ensure these abide with legislation, seeking assistance when required.
* Set-up and request HR system accounts, IT accounts and accounts relating to the employee's role.
* Manage the administration of all employee records and HR systems and databases.
* Provide holiday and sickness cover for HR function.
* Produce reports as requested by department/management

For this role you will need excellent administrative and organisational skills with an ability to progress several tasks simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail. Its desired candidates have previous experience using Sage People and BambooHR. Candidates will need to be proficient in using all Microsoft Office packages especially Word, Excel & Outlook.

You must be approachable and positive with the natural ability to build relationships; problem solve and must be able to deal with all HR matters with complete discretion.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. This is an office-based role with free onsite parking.

The salary for this position is £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience.
