Are you a passionate and qualified Humanities Teacher who can teach History to KS3 and KS4 students? Do you have experience working with SEN students and supporting their learning needs? If so, we have an exciting job for you at one of our amazing SEN schools in Ashford.

The school caters for students with a range of special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social and emotional difficulties. The school aims to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Your new Job
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to KS3 and 6 x 45 min lessons a week of year 11 KS4 History working towards achieving GCSE. You will plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs and interests of your students. You will also assess and monitor their progress and provide feedback and guidance. You will work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for your students.
The role is starting in January and is ongoing until further notice. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The pay rate is competitive and negotiable depending on your experience and qualifications.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:

* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS)
* A degree in Humanities or a related subject
* Experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students
* Experience working with SEN students or a willingness to learn
* A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
* A positive and flexible attitude
